Wildlife Group - Bats
CTVH Wildlife Group is delighted to welcome Matthew Terry as the Guest Speaker for the April meeting. Matthew is Chair of Worcestershire Bat Group and a Trustee of the Bat Conservation Trust. He will be talking about the bats of Britain, and suggesting great places in Worcestershire where you can see and hear bats.
CTVH Wildlife Club were pleased to welcome Matthew Terry from Worcestershire Bat Group and the Bat Conservation Trust.
Matthew gave a fascinating and informative talk on bats of the UK, their habits and habitats, how to identify the most common species and great local locations for bat spotting. He also told us how they have evolved and adapted over millennia into over 1300 different species native to every continent except Antarctica. And advised how we can help and encourage them into our environments.A thoroughly enjoyable and educational evening.
